I realized I have never been taught how to measure my subject and size them correctly! All these years I have been sketching without any understanding. Now it's so tough!
My first class ended in disaster.
Meddling with all the paint and brushes and knives and turpentine... Alamak, I'm all confused and slow. Indeed challenging. But I must say I have learnt something. That my so-called free spirit is not guarded by control and technique, and I still can't handle a brush well on a vertical canvas. Tough. This is a lousy start. I never expected that I could draw so badly. :)
